I recently read something about how women tend to pursue goals in a circular way, rather than a linear way, and when we try to force ourselves to adopt a linear approach, it can lead to frustration and even short-circuit our process.
The reason for this is apparently hard-wired into our brains, and has to do with the way that we process information; we tend to see things as being inter-connected, rather than focusing on "A" relating to "B" and "B" relating to "C".
So when it comes to setting goals, making plans and taking action, we go forward a little, then come back to connect with where we were, then we go out alittle farther and circle back, etc. Instead of a straight line from point "A" to point "Z", our path looks more like a spiderweb.
